Community involvement in Pickleball at Sawyer Point is what separates it from being JUST a wonderful pickleball facility but rather an inviting and inclusive family of passionate pickleball players. There are a few ways that your involvement can benefit pickleball at Sawyer Point the most - that is through volunteering your time when opportunities arise. In addition, two ways to make a large impact on the sustainability and ongoing success of Pickleball at Sawyer Point is through your monetary support through donations and by becoming a member - so that we can maintain the wonderful atmosphere for years to come.

  • Is my contribution tax-deductible?
    Donations to the Cincinnati Parks Foundation Pickleball Endowment Fund (the "Make a Donation Now" button) are 100% tax-deductible.
  • Will I receive a receipt for my contribution?
    You will receive an email receipt from the Cincinnati Parks Foundation, generated by Bloomerang.
  • When will my credit card be charged?
    Your credit card is charged immediately upon finalizing your gift through the donation portal.
  • Who should I contact with questions about my contribution?

  • How do I give via check?
    Please make your check payable to Cincinnati Parks Foundation. In the memo line, please include “Sawyer Point Pickleball,” and mail your check to: Cincinnati Parks Foundation, 421 Oak Street, Cincinnati, OH 45219
  • How do I make a gift of securities?
    To make a gift of company stock or a bank wire gift, please contact Truepoint Wealth Counsel Client Services Team at (800) 792-6648 or clientservices@truepointwealth.com.   • Can I use an IRA Required Minimum Distribution (RMD) as a Donation?
    The best way to get a tax benefit by using your RMDs for donations is by doing what’s called a Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD). This means you can start donating money directly from your IRA to PB at SP without having to pay taxes on that donation/distribution once you reach 70.5 years old! All RMD donations are stock transfers that go directly from your IRA to a Depository Trust Company (DTC). It CANNOT be sold or go into your bank account, and then you write a check, etc. Contact your IRA account holder/fiduciary, etc., for detailed instructions on how to make the stock transfer. A DTC facilitates the transfer of securities (NOT CASH) by indicating DTC #: 0226. Transfers are handled through Fidelity Investments and its National Financial Services subsidiary using the Fidelity account #: 676-812479. Be sure to indicate this is for the Cincinnati Parks Foundation, Pickleball at Sawyer Point.
